V2O3nanocrystals were synthesized in the Na2SO4salt matrix through mechanochemicl-thermal reduction between V2O5and Na2SO3. V2O3prepared at 550°C with the crystallite size in the range of 25–60nm shows a well-faceted morphology and exhibit the paramagnetic to antifferomagnetic transition at 144K.
