Sub: International Conference on Molecular Spectroscopy (ICMS 2017) to be held on 8, 9 & 10 December 2017 at School of Chemical Sciences Auditorium, Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, Kerala, India
Greetings and best wishes from International Unit on Macromolecular Science and Engineering (IUMSE), Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, Kerala, India, Wuhan University, Wuchang Dist., Hubei, China & Beijing University of Chemical Technology, China. We are organizing an International Conference on Molecular Spectroscopy (ICMS 2017) in December 2017. This conference will cover the following areas:
Spectroscopy in materials sciences
Spectroscopy of biological systems
Spectroscopy of surfaces and interfaces
Spectroscopy of luminescence materials
Spectroscopy in earth and environment sciences
Spectroscopy in chemical analysis
Resonance spectroscopy (NMR/EPR/ESR)
Non-covalent interactions
Theoretical and computational methods in molecular modeling
ICMS 2017 will be held in Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, Kerala, India on 8, 9 & 10 December 2017. The theme of the conference is “Molecular Spectroscopy for Materials and Biological Sciences. This conference will provide an international forum for scientific discovery, professional networking, research collaboration, interdisciplinary education, and dissemination of our most recent scientific advances to the academic as well as to the industries.
This symposium will bring together a panel of highly-accomplished experts in the field of molecular spectroscopy. Talks will encompass basic studies and applications and will address topics of novel issues. During the three-day conference, we will listen to recognized authorities in the field as they discuss recent advances, difficulties, and breakthroughs in the field of molecular spectroscopy. The conference will feature a number of plenary sessions, keynote addresses, invited talks and contributed lectures focusing on specific tenets of molecules to functional materials. Additionally, there will be several poster sessions, and three poster presentations will be selected for the award. Another feature of the conference is short invited talks by PhD students and we have instituted 3 awards for the best oral talks by the PhD students,
In view of your excellent contributions to the field of molecular spectroscopy, we would like to welcome you to give an invited talk at the conference. The scientific committee of the conference is aware of your published works in this field. We would appreciate if you could e-mail us a one-page abstract of the talk (in the MS Word format) at the earliest to the conference Email ID: spectroscopy@macromol.in. An appropriate title could be decided by you.
Important dates
Ø Deadline for the submission of Abstract is 31st October 2017
Ø Deadline for the submission of full paper is 15th November 2017
Ø Notification to authors : 16th November 2017
Publication of Conference Paper
We have got acceptance from River Publishers (www.riverpublishers.com) and Apple Academic Press, USA(www.AppleAcademicPress.com), to edit 2 books based on our conference. We also have got acceptance from Advanced International Journals of Research (https://www.aijr.in/) to publish peer reviewed papers in these journals. All the papers for the journals and for the books will be peer reviewed by international experts before publication. The proposed book and journals will be indexed by Scopus database. There are no publication fees for the above journals and books.
Brain Storming Discussion Meeting On Joint Projects and Collaborations (HORIZON 2020)
During the conference there will be a brain storming discussion meeting in order to submit a joint project proposals to European Union under the “HORIZON 2020” programme for funding between India, Europe and Rest of the world. We will also discuss other bilateral research progrmmes between DST, UGC, INSA and DBT of India and Rest of the world. Please note that DST of India has signed bilateral agreement with almost all the countries in the globe. These include DST-NSF, DST-DAAD, DST-DFG, DST-KBN, Indo-French (CEFIPRA), DST-NSF, DST- Australia, etc etc. This conference will act as a good platform to find partners for international research collaborations. Please see the publications and citation of Prof.Thomas's Group (who welcomes all sorts of collaborations) in Mahatma Gandhi University from Google Scholar: https://scholar.google.co.in/citations?user=74VyKRYAAAAJ&hl=en
Business to Business (B2B) Industries Interaction
We will bring many companies from India and abroad to have strong Business to Business (B2B) Industries Interaction. This will open up new collaborations, joint ventures, technology transfer between multinational, medium scale and small scale industrial units across the globe.
Exhibition
There will be major exhibition by different companies in the field of spectroscopy. We will also invite ancillary units and companies supplying major characterization instruments.
Panel Discussion
On the last day of the conference a panel discussion will be held to sum up the deliberations of the conference
Registration Fee
Please note that the registration fee has been fixed at an affordable rate. The registration fee includes registration materials, conference proceedings, all lunches, dinners, refreshments, the special conference dinner and free entry to the traditional cultural programmes of Kerala and an exciting sightseeing boat trip in the Backwaters of Kerala and Vembanad Lake. Please note that due to budgetary constraints, we are unable to provide any financial assistance for travel.
